PEN (Polyethylene Naphthalate) is an FDM 3D-printing filament suitable for the manufacturing of components used in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, including those involving contact with cells, blood, food, and pharmaceuticals.

PEN, as printed, provides an exceptionally smooth surface finish within the FDM category. Cleaning and sterilization can be performed effectively without additional post-processing, reducing variability in printed parts and simplifying part and process validation.

Internationally recognized biocompatibility testing has been conducted using 3D-printed test specimens. The material is compatible with common sterilization methods. It exhibits low extractables and leachables (E&L) and excellent wear resistance, supporting stable long-term performance in regulated applications.

Making Biocompatible 3D Printed Parts Shouldn’t Be Complicated

If you’re struggling to make biocompatible 3D printed parts with SLA and DLP,

We know how frustrating that can be.

Print with PEN filament, and the workflow becomes much simpler.

Send your model to the 3D printer, pick up the finished part, inspect it, and move straight to testing.

So you're not left wondering whether the part was washed and cured properly to meet compliance and perform.

Made in Taiwan

Our filament is manufactured in Taiwan, with every step—from extrusion to final packaging—performed in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom.

An air-cooling extrusion system helps minimize contamination risks, while precise diameter control and consistent spooling ensure reliable printing performance.

Our patent-pending spool design helps prevent filament jams and ensures smooth feeding.
